Covering the teeth with composite (composite bonding) is performed in multiple cases. Mainly is is chosen due to economic reasons (such a filling is much cheaper than a prothodontic solution – porcelain veneers, crowns aso).

Firstly the anterior part of the tooth is slightly reduced, so that the “new” tooth wont be so big. Then, with the help of the delicate acid, microscopic fossae form from etching. At this time, composite resin, where the colour is matched to the colour of the surrounding teeth, is applied on the tooth, gives it a suitable form, hardens with the help of a special light and at the end if is smoothed and polished.
